This coolant reserve tank is a key part of the engine cooling system. It stores extra coolant pushed out from the radiator when the engine heats up, then feeds it back when temperatures drop. This keeps coolant level stable and helps prevent overheating during heavy driving, traffic, or hot weather.
Why this part is needed ✅
As coolant expands with heat, pressure rises. The cap and hose route excess coolant into this tank instead of wasting it on the ground. When the system cools, vacuum pulls coolant back, keeping air out and protecting the water pump, thermostat, and cylinder head.
How it works ⚙️
