Lower Radiator Coolant Hose — OEM‑fit for Mitsubishi pickups
This molded coolant hose links the radiator outlet to the water pump inlet, completing the cold side of the engine cooling system. Built from heat‑resistant EPDM with fabric reinforcement, it keeps shape under pressure, resists collapse under vacuum, and survives constant vibration and chemical exposure. Why you need it ❄️
A healthy lower radiator hose safeguards stable coolant circulation, protects the water pump, and holds engine temperature in the safe zone during towing, traffic, or hot weather. Aging rubber hardens, softens, or cracks; proactive replacement prevents roadside overheating and costly repairs.
How it works
When the thermostat opens, the pump pulls cooled antifreeze from the bottom of the radiator through this hose. Reinforcement stops the hose from collapsing on decel, while the molded shape prevents kinks and hot spots.
