Why you need it

How it works ️
Oil drains by gravity into the pan after lubricating the engine. Baffles calm slosh during braking and turns, so the pickup stays submerged. The drain plug allows clean, controlled service at each oil change.
When it’s damaged ⚠️
Dents can starve the pickup, causing low pressure, lifter noise, and bearing wear. Cracks or stripped plug threads lead to leaks, oil smell, and warning lights. Severe loss can seize the engine.
