Inlet Valve Seat for Reliable Engine Sealing ?
This precision inlet valve seat is a small but critical engine part that gives the intake valve a hard, smooth surface to close against. It is needed to keep strong compression, stable idle, and correct air-fuel filling of the cylinder. A good seat also helps move heat from the valve into the cylinder head, protecting the valve from overheating.
How It Works βοΈ
During the intake stroke, the valve opens and fresh mixture (or air) enters. When the valve closes, it lands on the seat and forms a tight seal. The contact area must be perfectly round and properly angled so combustion pressure stays inside the chamber. This accurate sealing supports power, fuel economy, and clean combustion.
