This exterior sash moulding sits along the front door’s window frame (driver’s side on RHD), finishing the pillar line and shielding the glass channel. It seals the gap between body and glass, guides the run channel, and protects paint from sun, wind, and road debris. Built in OEM-grade material with UV resistance, it uses factory-style clips for a tight, quiet fit.
Why you need it ?️
Old or missing trim causes wind whistle, water entry, and an untidy look. Replacing it restores correct sealing, keeps the cabin quiet, and prevents corrosion around the window frame. It also stabilizes the glass at speed and improves window travel.
How it works ⚙️
The moulding locks to the door flange and mates with the window run. When the door closes, its edge compresses the weatherstrip, blocking rain, dust, and noise. Correct curvature aligns the glass, reducing flutter and wear on the channel.
