Upper Radiator Coolant Hose
This coolant hose connects the top of the radiator to the engine coolant outlet, carrying hot coolant so the radiator can remove heat. It’s a simple part, but it’s critical for stable engine temperature and daily reliability .
Why this hose is needed

How it works
When the thermostat opens, hot coolant leaves the engine and travels through this upper hose into the radiator. The radiator cools the fluid, then coolant returns to the engine through the lower hose. The hose must stay flexible, heat-resistant, and sealed tight at both clamps.
What happens if it’s damaged
