A/C Compressor Discharge Hose — OEM-Grade Replacement ❄️
This high‑pressure line carries hot refrigerant gas from the compressor to the condenser. A tight, heat‑resistant hose keeps your air conditioning efficient, quiet, and clean. Built to OEM geometry and pressure rating, it restores factory airflow and cooling, matching the original routing and fittings for a fast, leak‑free install.
Why this part is needed
Without a sealed discharge path, the system loses refrigerant and compressor oil. The result is warm cabin air, higher load on the compressor, and rising under‑hood temperatures. A correct hose keeps pressure stable and protects the whole A/C loop.
How it works
A reinforced rubber core with crimped steel ends withstands pulsating pressures and heat from the compressor outlet. It directs the hot gas to the condenser, where it sheds heat and turns into a high‑pressure liquid for the expansion cycle.
What happens if it’s broken
Leaks, hissing, and oily spots appear. Cooling fades or stops, the compressor overheats, the clutch may slip, and moisture can enter, corroding internals and damaging the dryer. Prolonged driving can lead to compressor failure. Replace the O‑rings, evacuate, vacuum, and recharge after fitting. Ref: MN123619.
