Clutch Release Bearing Assembly βš™οΈ

This clutch release bearing assembly is a key part of the manual transmission system. It is needed to separate engine power from the gearbox when the driver presses the clutch pedal. A good release bearing gives smooth gear shifting, quiet clutch operation, and proper pedal feel.

How It Works ?

When the clutch pedal is pressed, the clutch fork moves the bearing toward the pressure plate. The bearing spins while pushing the diaphragm spring, allowing the clutch disc to release from the flywheel. This lets the driver change gears without grinding or shock load to the transmission.

Signs of a Bad Bearing ⚠️

If this part is worn or damaged, you may hear whining, rattling, or grinding noises when pressing the clutch pedal. Gear changes can become hard, the clutch may not disengage fully, and driving can feel rough. If ignored, a failed bearing can damage the pressure plate, clutch fork, and gearbox input area.
