This precision bearing supports the input pinion in a Mitsubishi manual gearbox, keeping gears perfectly aligned and power delivery smooth. How it works
The bearing centers the main drive pinion and holds factory preload so the pinion and countershaft stay in constant, accurate contact. As the clutch engages, torque passes through this bearing; the rolling elements maintain a thin oil film, minimizing drag while controlling endplay.
