OEM-Grade Clutch Friction Disc for Mitsubishi Vehicles

This replacement clutch friction disc is built for Mitsubishi drivetrains that demand reliable torque transfer and smooth take-off. It links the engine flywheel to the gearbox through the pressure plate, delivering clean engagement, vibration control, and long service life.

Why this part is needed βœ…

The clutch disc is essential for transmitting engine power to the transmission without shock. It cushions engagement during starts, protects gears from harsh loads, and ensures precise shifting. A healthy disc keeps acceleration responsive and drivability consistent in city and off-road use.

How it works βš™οΈ

Friction linings on both sides grip the flywheel and pressure plate when the pedal is released. Damping springs in the hub absorb torsional vibration, while a splined center engages the input shaft. The result: controlled bite, less chatter, and smoother gear changes.

What happens if it’s worn or broken ❗

Expect clutch slip under load, high RPM with poor acceleration, burning smell, judder on take-off, hard shifting, and possible rattle from loose hub springs. Severe failure can leave the vehicle unable to move and may damage the flywheel and pressure plate.

Tech tip

Always replace with the matching pressure plate and release bearing, resurface the flywheel if glazed, and torque bolts to spec. Proper break-in (light driving for 300–500 km) extends lining life and prevents hot spots.
