Engine Coolant Bypass Tube for Mitsubishi SUVs

This precision coolant bypass tube keeps your engine temperature stable in every season. It allows a controlled flow of coolant around the thermostat, preventing hot spots in the block and helping the heater warm up faster. Built to OEM geometry for a clean fit, it’s the quiet hero of the cooling circuit .

Why you need it ❄️

Without a proper bypass path, the pump can churn against a closed thermostat, causing pressure spikes, cavitation, and uneven temperatures. This tube ensures steady flow during warm‑up and light load, extending water pump and thermostat life.

How it works ️

Mounted between the pump housing and engine passages, it channels a small, constant stream of coolant. Sealed by O‑rings or gaskets and secured with clamps/bolts, it resists vibration and corrosion while guiding flow back to the pump and heater core.

What happens if it fails ⚠️

Leaks (pink/green stains), sweet smell, low coolant, weak cabin heat at idle, fluctuating gauge, or sudden overheating. Air pockets may trigger poor idle and gasket stress. Prolonged driving can warp heads—replace at first signs.

Tech notes

Use fresh seals, correct coolant mix, clean mating faces, torque evenly, and bleed air. Inspect for rust pitting, hose swelling, or crushed ends.
