Premium crank pulley for Mitsubishi engines βš™οΈ

This direct-fit crankshaft pulley restores smooth rotation and stable belt tracking on many Mitsubishi engines. Made from high‑grade steel with a bonded rubber damper, it merges a harmonic balancer and multi‑groove belt wheel to keep the accessory drive quiet and efficient.

Why you need it

It turns the alternator, water pump (if belt‑driven), power steering, and A/C. The integrated damper absorbs torsional spikes from combustion, protecting the crank nose, bearings, and belts. Correct mass and geometry keep charging, cooling, and steering reliable mile after mile.

How it works

Bolted to the crankshaft snout, the inner hub locates on the keyway. The outer inertia ring carries the belt grooves. A vulcanized elastomer between hub and ring isolates twist, cutting vibration and stopping belt jump at idle and high RPM. Precision balance reduces wear on accessories.

If it’s damaged ❗

Expect squeal, wobble, or a hot rubber smell, plus battery light on, overheating, heavy steering, and harsh engine shake. A separated damper can shred belts, misalign accessories, chew the keyway, or leave you stranded.

Tech tips ️

Inspect key and crank nose, clean mating faces, use factory torque and threadlocker, and renew the stretch bolt if specified. Fit new belts and recheck tension and pulley runout after the first drive.
