Rear Main Seal for Mitsubishi Applications

Keep engine oil where it belongs with this precision rear crankshaft seal. Designed for tight sealing around the crank tail, it prevents leaks at the back of the motor where the flywheel or flexplate sits. Perfect for restoring oil-tight reliability in daily drivers and workhorses .

Why this part is needed ️

The rear of the crank rotates at high speed. Without a healthy seal, oil escapes, coating the clutch or torque converter, triggering mess, smell, and wear. This seal keeps oil pressure stable and your engine clean.

How it works

A spring-loaded lip hugs the crank journal while a secondary dust lip blocks debris. Quality elastomer (NBR/FKM) handles heat and additives, while the outer shell locks into the housing for a steady, uniform seal.

If the seal fails ⚠️

β€’ Fresh oil traces at bellhousing. β€’ Drips under the car after parking. β€’ Slipping clutch or contaminated flywheel. β€’ Low oil level, bearing stress, and increased consumption. Ignoring it can lead to costly transmission-out repairs later.

Build, fitment, and reference βœ…

Engineered to OEM standards for Mitsubishi models; cross-check size and engine code. OEM ref: ME011867 for comparison only.

Install notes

Inspect crank surface, clean and lightly oil the lip, press squarely with a proper driver. Do not over-grease. Verify breather function to avoid pressure blowout. Torque flywheel/plate to spec after replacement.
