    Speedometer Driven Gear – OE-style replacement

    This small gear sits in the transmission/transfer case and turns your speed reading into accurate road data. It meshes with the output shaft’s drive gear and spins the speedometer cable or vehicle speed sensor, giving correct speed and odometer values. Proper tooth count and tight mesh keep your dashboard steady and your ECU happy.

    Why you need it ⏱️

    Without a healthy driven gear, the cluster can’t measure vehicle speed correctly. The engine and transmission also rely on this signal for shift timing, cruise control, and stability functions—especially on 4x4 trucks and SUVs.

    How it works

    A helical polymer/metal gear sits in a sealed carrier. As the shaft rotates, the gear converts shaft RPM into a proportional speed signal. Precision molding ensures correct ratio and quiet operation.

    What happens if it’s worn or broken ⚠️

    • Erratic or dead speedometer/odometer
