MD325217 Engine Head Seal for Mitsubishi ?
This precision head-to-block seal keeps compression strong, coolant contained, and oil routes clean. It is the thin barrier that allows the engine to build power while staying cool and leak-free. Built to OE spec with heat-resistant layers and reinforced fire rings, it handles daily driving and long climbs without breaking a sweat.
Why you need it
Without a sound head seal, the engine loses compression, runs hot, and wastes fuel. This part prevents coolant–oil mixing, stabilizes operating temperature, and protects the catalyst and O2 sensors from steam and unburnt fuel.
How it works ?
Clamped between block and head, it seals cylinder bores, oil galleries, and water jackets. Correct torque and sequence compress the layers evenly, creating a gas-tight and fluid-tight joint.
If it fails ⚠️
White exhaust, milky oil, bubbling in radiator, misfires, overheating, low power, and rapid coolant loss. Continued driving can warp the head, damage pistons, and ruin the catalytic converter.
