Radiator Cooling Fan Assembly for Mitsubishi platforms ❄️
This high-efficiency fan keeps engine temperature stable by pulling strong airflow through the radiator and A/C condenser, especially at idle, in traffic, or while towing. Built to factory geometry, it restores proper cooling, reduces heat soak, and protects the head gasket, hoses, and transmission cooler.
Why this part is needed
Engines make heat. Without steady airflow at low speed, coolant overheats, A/C performance falls, and under-hood parts age faster. A correctly profiled fan maintains target temps, smooth idle, and reliable cabin A/C.
How it works ️
Depending on model, the fan is driven by an electric motor via relay/ECU, or by a viscous clutch from the crank pulley. The blades and shroud create a pressure drop that pulls cool air across radiator fins; when vehicle speed rises, demand drops and the fan freewheels or slows.
What happens if it’s broken ⚠️
Symptoms: temp gauge climbs, boiling coolant, weak A/C at idle, noisy or wobbling fan, burning smell. Risks: warped head, blown gasket, cracked radiator, cooked ATF—costly repairs. Replace early to prevent thermal damage.
Install tips
Direct-fit. Inspect shroud, relay/fuse or clutch, and belts. Torque evenly, ensure blade clearance, and verify fan engagement with engine warm and A/C on.
