Engine Intake Valve (OEM-Grade Replacement)
This intake valve is a key internal engine part that controls how fresh air-fuel charge enters the combustion chamber. It is needed to keep correct cylinder filling, stable idle, strong pulling power, and clean combustion. A healthy valve helps your Mitsubishi engine start easier, run smoother, and keep fuel economy where it should be.
How It Works βοΈ
The valve opens and closes in perfect timing with the camshaft. When the piston moves down, the valve opens to let the mixture flow in through the intake port. Then it seals tight against the valve seat so the cylinder can build compression and burn the mixture correctly. Good sealing and straight valve movement are critical for compression and heat control.
When Itβs Worn or Broken
A bent or burnt valve, weak sealing face, or worn stem can cause low compression, misfires, rough idle, hard starting, loss of power, backfiring through the intake, and increased fuel use. If ignored, it may damage the valve seat, piston, or cylinder head and lead to costly top-end repairs.
