This precision outlet fitting links the thermostat housing to the upper radiator hose, guiding hot coolant out of the engine. It seals the passage with an O-ring/gasket and keeps hose alignment correct under heat and vibration. Built from heat‑resistant alloy, it prevents leaks and pressure loss in tough daily use and off‑road conditions.
Why this part is needed
Without a sound outlet neck, the cooling system cannot hold pressure. Proper pressure raises the coolant boiling point, improves heat transfer, and protects the head gasket, heater core, and radiator.
How it works
When the thermostat opens, coolant flows through this neck into the radiator. A machined spigot grips the hose; the flange bolts to the housing. The seal keeps a closed loop so the water pump can circulate efficiently. Some versions include a boss for sensors or bleed ports.
