Mitsubishi Front Wheel Hub Center Cap Retainer (OE ref. MB624908)
This precision retainer locks the front hub center cap to the disc wheel. It keeps the cap seated, shields the hub nut and bearings from dust, mud, and water, and prevents rattles on rough roads. Built for hard-working Mitsubishi 4x4s, it ensures a tidy look and long service life ️.
Why you need it
Without a secure cap, contaminants enter the hub, leading to premature bearing wear, grease washout, and rust on axle ends. A missing cap can also cause wind noise and an unbalanced feel at speed.
How it works
The retainer is a snap-fit ring/holder that grips the wheel bore and the cap’s tabs. Its spring tension centers the cap and resists vibration. Corrosion-resistant materials maintain clamping force through heat cycles and off-road use.
When it’s damaged ⚠️
