Rear Suspension Coil Spring Seat
Keep your rear axle quiet, aligned, and strong. This coil spring seat (OE ref: MB584481) supports the rear spring, centers it on the perch, and isolates metal contact to maintain ride height and comfort. Built for tough pickup and SUV duty, it spreads load over the axle mount, cutting noise and vibration on city streets and rough tracks .
Why you need it ️
Without a healthy seat/insulator, the coil digs into the perch, ride height drops, and the rear end gets noisy. This part preserves spring geometry, protects components, and delivers stable handling under load or towing.
How it works ⚙️
A steel cup with molded rubber pad cradles the coil’s tail, locks its position, and damps micro-shock. Locator tabs keep the spring from rotating, while the rubber layer filters road buzz so shocks can do their job.
What happens if it’s broken ⚠️
