Rear Suspension Spring Seat for dependable ride comfort

This OE-style coil spring isolator sits between the rear coil and its perch, preventing harsh metal-to-metal contact. It cushions impacts, centers the spring, and shields the chassis from wear and rust. By cutting squeaks and vibration, it keeps your truck stable and quiet on every road ️.

Why you need it

The rear spring carries load and absorbs bumps. Without a proper seat, the coil scuffs the mount, noise grows, ride height can drop, and alignment may wander. A fresh seat restores correct positioning and protects the spring coating and body mounts for longer service life.

How it works

A molded elastomer pad, often bonded to a stamped steel base, locates the coil end. It spreads load evenly, isolates NVH, and stops the coil from rotating or cutting into the perch. Corrosion-resistant finishes fight water, mud, and road salt ️.

What happens if it’s damaged

Expect clunks or squeaks over bumps, rear-end sag, uneven tire wear, drifting under braking, and a visibly mis-seated coil. A torn or crushed seat can let the spring rub through, risking coil breakage and extra stress on shocks and bushings. Replace in pairs for balanced height and handling.

Install notes

Direct-fit; no mods. Safely compress the spring, swap the seat, align the coil tail with the stop, and torque to spec. Typical DIY time: 1–2 hours per side. βœ…
