Why you need this part
This kit supports the steering center link on the passenger side, keeping wheel toe steady and the truck tracking straight. A healthy idler arm reduces wander, shimmy, and uneven tire wear—critical for daily use, towing, or rough roads.
How it works
Bolted to the frame, a hardened pivot shaft and bushings allow a forged arm to swing with the center link, mirroring the pitman arm on the driver’s side. Seals and optional grease fittings keep movement smooth and precise. The result is stable pickup truck steering across bumps and turns.
If worn or broken ⚠️
Expect play in the wheel, clunks over bumps, pull under braking, tramlining, and feathered tires. Severe wear can let the center link drop or shift, causing sudden toe changes, rapid tire loss, and risky handling. It also strains tie rods and the steering gearbox.
Build and kit contents
OE-grade forged arm, robust bracket, pivot shaft, bushings/bearings, dust seals, high-tensile hardware, castle nut and cotter pin—designed for tight fit and long life.
Fitment and install tips
Direct-fit on the platforms below. Replace in pairs with the pitman/tie-rods when play exists. Torque to service manual specs and finish with a professional alignment. Re-grease at intervals if fittings are provided.
