Outer Steering Tie Rod Socket Kit
This kit restores sharp steering response and proper wheel alignment. It links the steering rack to the knuckle, keeping the front wheels pointed where you aim. A precise tie rod end is vital for safe tracking, straight-line stability, and even tire wear.
Why you need it
Worn joints create play in the steering, make the car wander, and scrub tires. Replacing the outer joint returns factory feel, reduces vibration, and protects suspension parts by keeping toe angle correct.
How it works βοΈ
A hardened ball stud pivots inside a greased socket while pushing and pulling the knuckle as you turn the wheel. The tapered pin locks into the knuckle with a nut, while the threaded side allows toe adjustment. A sealed boot keeps grease in and dirt out for long life.
