OEM‑Spec Disc Brake Caliper Seal Kit for Nissan
Bring back confident braking with a fresh set of caliper piston seals, dust boots, pin bellows, guide seals, and bleeder caps. Built from heat‑resistant EPDM and molded to factory geometry, this kit restores hydraulic integrity, keeps grit out, and preserves smooth pad movement. Ideal after a caliper service, high mileage, or any hint of moisture around the piston or pins.
Why You Need It
Seals maintain fluid pressure for firm pedal feel, while boots shield the piston and slides from water and road debris. Renewing them prevents uneven pad wear, vibration, and early rotor damage—saving money and improving stopping distance.
How It Works ️
The square‑cut inner seal flexes under pressure, moving the piston out and then elastically retracting it for pad release. Outer dust boots lock into the caliper and piston grooves to block contamination. Guide seals keep slide pins lubricated so both pads clamp evenly.
If Parts Fail
Expect fluid seepage, soft or sinking pedal, pull to one side, hot rotors, squeal, and ABS warnings. Corrosion can seize the piston or pins, causing rapid pad wear and longer stopping distances.
Technician Tips
Clean bores, inspect for pitting, use silicone brake grease on pins and seal lips, seat boots fully, and bleed with the DOT spec shown on the cap.
