Timing Case Vent Line for Mercedes V8 Biturbo
Keep your V8 Biturbo breathing right. This timing case vent line guides blowβby gases from the front cover to the PCV/intake, stabilizing crankcase pressure. Proper ventilation protects front seals, keeps idle smooth, reduces oil mist in the intake, and helps turbos live longer. Built for high heat and boost, the molded tube uses tight Oβringed quick connectors and a calibrated inner bore for controlled flow.
Why this part is needed β
Balanced crankcase pressure prevents oil leaks at the timing cover, avoids foaming, and limits sludge. On W222 SβClass and related AMG/GLE/CLS/E platforms, a healthy vent path is critical for emissions and performance.
How it works
The breather hose links the timing housing to the PCV circuit. Engine vacuum draws vapors through the tube while its diameter meters flow. Heatβresistant plastics and seals keep the system airtight under boost and temperature swings.

Expect rough idle, whistle noise, oil smell, increased fuel use, oil sweat at the front cover, and possible lean/PCV fault codes. Prolonged use can push oil past seals and contaminate charge pipes and intercoolers.
