Premium oil-to-coolant heat exchanger for Mercedes V8 performance engines ❄️

This OEM-spec cooling module keeps your lubrication system in the safe zone under city traffic and full-throttle Autobahn use. By stabilizing oil temperature, it protects bearings, camshafts, and turbos, improving reliability and power consistency on AMG and executive Mercedes platforms, including W222 S‑Class.

Why your engine needs it

Engine oil does double duty: lubrication and heat removal. This module manages oil temp for faster warm-up, stable viscosity, and reduced oxidation. Result: quieter operation, stronger film strength, and extended engine life ️.

How it works

A compact plate stack transfers heat between engine oil and coolant. Counter‑flow channels maximize exchange efficiency, while internal passages and seals prevent mixing. On cold starts, oil warms quickly; at load, excess heat is shed to the radiator circuit ♨️.

What happens if it fails

Warning signs: rising oil temp, limp mode, external leaks, or milky oil from cross‑contamination ⚠️. Continued driving risks turbo coking, spun bearings, and head gasket stress.

Install tips

Always fit new O‑rings, clean mating surfaces, torque to spec, bleed coolant, and refresh oil/filter. Use MB‑approved coolant and oil (229.5/229.51). Inspect hoses and thermostat for debris.
