Engine Air-Intake Manifold Hose for Mercedes-Benz βœ…

This hose is a key link between the intake tract and the intake manifold. It is needed to carry clean, metered air to the engine so the turbo/airbox and sensors can control fuel mixture correctly. When the hose is tight and sealed, the engine breathes smoothly, builds boost normally, and keeps stable idle ?.

How it works

Air flows through the hose under vacuum and boost conditions. The reinforced rubber/plastic body resists heat and oil vapors, while the shaped bends keep airflow steady. Clamps and sealing lips prevent unmetered air leaks, helping the MAF/MAP readings stay accurate.

Why replacing it matters

If the hose cracks, softens, or splits, the engine can pull in β€œfalse air.” This often causes rough idle, hesitation, loss of power, higher fuel use, turbo underboost/overboost faults, and a check engine light.
