Left Engine Air Intake Filter Element for Mercedes-AMG ??

This air filter element is a key service part for the left-side intake path on high-output Mercedes-AMG engines. It is needed to keep dust, sand, soot, and road debris out of the intake system, so the engine can breathe clean air and keep stable power.

How it works βš™οΈ

The filter media traps particles while allowing smooth airflow to the airbox and mass air flow sensing area. By maintaining correct airflow volume and low restriction, it helps the ECU keep fuel trim, boost response, and throttle feel consistentβ€”especially under hard acceleration.

Why replacing it matters ?

If the filter is clogged, airflow drops and the engine may feel lazy, fuel consumption can rise, and turbo/boost control may work harder. If the filter is torn or poorly seated, dirt can pass through and act like sandpaper inside the intake, risking premature wear to turbo compressor blades, sensors, and cylinder walls. In severe cases you may see warning lights, rough running, or reduced-power mode.

Common signs of a bad filter ?

  • Reduced acceleration and slower boost build
  • Higher fuel use
  • Unusual intake noise or dirty airbox
  • Engine light due to airflow mixture deviations
