This precision rubber seal sits on the return line joint and stops fluid from escaping under heat and vibration. Itβs a small part, but itβs critical: modern Mercedes AMG engines run tight pressure control, and even a tiny seep can turn into a messy leak.
Why this part is needed
The return line carries fluid back to the tank/system after circulation. The Oβring creates a flexible, crush-fit seal between the pipe and housing, compensating for metal expansion and engine movement.
How it works
When the fitting is tightened, the Oβring compresses into its groove and forms a 360Β° barrier. Good material resists fuel/oil, high temperatures, and ozone, keeping the joint dry and stable.
