Information

Ignition Spark Plug for Mercedes Petrol Engines ?

This spark plug is a small part with a big job. It creates the electric spark that lights the air-fuel mixture inside the combustion chamber. Without a strong spark, the engine cannot burn fuel correctly, especially on Kompressor and AMG engines where clean ignition is very important.

Why This Part Is Needed ⚑

A healthy plug helps the engine start quickly, idle smoothly, accelerate cleanly, and use fuel properly. It also protects the ignition coils and catalytic converters from extra stress caused by misfiring.

How It Works

The ignition coil sends high voltage to the plug. The spark jumps across the electrode gap and ignites the compressed fuel mixture. Correct heat range and electrode condition keep combustion stable under city driving, highway load, and high-performance use.

What Happens If It Fails ?

A worn or damaged plug may cause hard starting, rough idle, engine shaking, power loss, poor fuel economy, check engine light, and cylinder misfire codes. If ignored, unburned fuel can damage the catalytic converter and make repairs much more expensive.
