AC Discharge Hose Assembly ❄️
This air conditioning discharge line is a high-pressure hose that carries hot, compressed refrigerant from the AC compressor toward the condenser. It is needed to keep the system sealed, stable, and able to cool the cabin fast in summer. A good hose also protects the compressor by keeping correct operating pressure.
How It Works ?
When the compressor pumps refrigerant, the discharge side becomes the highest-pressure zone. The reinforced hose and its crimped fittings hold that pressure while routing refrigerant through the engine bay. Internal liner material resists heat and refrigerant oil, while the outer jacket shields from vibration and abrasion.

A cracked or leaking line can dump refrigerant and oil, causing weak or no cooling, hissing sounds, oily residue at joints, and rapid compressor cycling.
