Front Flexible Brake Hose (No.1) ✅
This front flexible hose is a critical link between the rigid brake pipe on the body and the moving front wheel brake caliper. It is needed because the suspension and steering constantly move, and a hard line would crack fast. This hose keeps full brake pressure while allowing the wheel to turn left/right and travel up/down safely.
How it works ?
When you press the brake pedal, hydraulic fluid pressure travels through the metal line and into this flexible section. The reinforced inner tube holds pressure, while the outer layers resist heat, road salt, and abrasion. Proper sealing at both ends prevents fluid loss and keeps the pedal firm.
If the hose is damaged ⚠️
A cracked or swollen hose can leak fluid, cause a soft pedal, longer stopping distance, or sudden brake failure. Internal collapse may also act like a one-way valve, leading to brake drag, overheating, and uneven pad wear.
