Radiator Cooling Fan Assembly ?οΈ
This cooling fan unit is a key part of the engine temperature control system. It is needed when natural airflow is not enoughβespecially in traffic, hot weather, or when the A/C is running. By pulling air through the radiator, it helps the coolant release heat fast and keeps the engine in a safe operating range.
How it works βοΈ
The fan spins behind the radiator to create strong airflow. It is switched on and off by the vehicleβs temperature control logic (sensor/ECU/relay depending on setup). When coolant temperature rises, the fan engages to prevent heat soak and stabilize temps during idle and low-speed driving.
Why replacement matters β
A weak or failed fan canβt move enough air, so heat builds up quickly. You may notice rising temperature gauge readings, A/C getting warm at idle, or coolant boiling after shutdown.
