Ignition Coil Assembly

This spark ignites the air-fuel mixture within the engine's cylinders, enabling the engine to run efficiently.

Functionality of the Ignition Coil

The ignition coil operates as a pulse transformer, taking in low voltage from the battery and converting it to the high voltage required to ignite the air-fuel mixture. It consists of two windings of copper wire - the primary and secondary - and an iron core, with the primary coil generating a magnetic field that induces the high voltage in the secondary coil.
