Why this part is needed β
When torque moves through the drivetrain, gears push sideways. This bearing absorbs that push, keeps components centered, and prevents metal-to-metal rubbing between rotating parts and the housing.
How it works ?
Needle rollers sit between hardened thrust faces. As the shaft turns, the rollers spin and spread the load across many contact points. This reduces friction, stabilizes end-play, and helps maintain correct gear alignment under acceleration and deceleration.
