Reliable Ignition Plug for Toyota Petrol Engines ⚑

This ignition plug is a key wear item in the engine tune-up system. It is needed to create a strong, timed spark inside the combustion chamber, so the air-fuel mix burns clean and the engine delivers smooth power. A healthy plug helps starting, idle stability, fuel economy, and lower emissions βœ….

How It Works

High voltage from the ignition coil jumps across the plug gap between the center and ground electrodes. That spark ignites the mixture at the right moment. The ceramic insulator resists heat and voltage leak, while the metal shell transfers heat to the cylinder head to prevent overheating.

Why Replacement Matters ️

Over time, the electrode wears and the gap grows. Carbon fouling, oil contamination, or overheating can weaken the spark. Replacing on schedule keeps the ignition system efficient and protects the coil from extra load.

If It’s Worn or Broken

Expect hard starting, misfire, shaking idle, loss of power, higher fuel use, and a flashing check engine light. Continued driving with misfires can damage the catalytic converter and stress ignition coils.
