Side Impact Airbag Sensor (SRS) — Reliable Lateral Crash Detection ️
This unit is a small safety controller that reads side impact forces and tells the SRS to fire the curtain and seat airbags in milliseconds. It is mounted near the B‑pillar or seat base and is vital for passenger protection during T‑bone or pole hits.
