Rear Left Wheel Speed Sensor for Toyota
This rear-left wheel speed sensor is a key input device for the ABS and traction systems 🚗. It is needed to measure how fast the rear left wheel is turning, so the control unit can prevent wheel lock, reduce skids, and keep braking stable on wet or loose roads.
How It Works
The sensor reads the rotation of a tone ring (or magnetic encoder) and converts it into an electrical signal. That signal is sent to the ABS/vehicle stability module, which compares wheel speeds and adjusts brake pressure when it detects slip.
