Premium Air‑Fuel Ratio Sensor for Toyota

This wideband O2 sensor (upstream oxygen sensor) precisely measures exhaust oxygen so the ECU can keep the mixture at the ideal 14.7:1. A fresh Toyota air‑fuel ratio sensor restores smooth power, better MPG, and clean emissions. Replace it when fuel use rises, idle gets rough, or after high mileage/contamination.

Why you need it

Accurate fuel control prevents rich or lean running. That protects the catalytic converter, stabilizes idle, improves throttle response, and helps pass emissions testing. It’s a key part of reliable daily driving.

How it works ⚙️

A fast‑response planar cell compares oxygen inside the sensor to oxygen in the exhaust. With its built‑in heater, it reaches operating temperature in seconds and reports a precise signal the ECU uses to trim injectors many times per second. Durable housing and shielded wiring handle heat, moisture, and vibration.

What happens if it fails ⚠️

Symptoms include Check Engine Light, poor MPG, hesitation, rough idle, fuel smell, and failed emissions. Prolonged rich running can overheat or poison the catalyst, leading to costly repairs.

Fitment tips

Install in the upstream position before the catalyst. Use the correct gasket, tighten to spec, avoid touching the sensing tip, and keep the connector clean. After install, clear codes and perform a short relearn drive.
