Fuel Temperature Sensor for Stable Fuel Control β½
This sensor is a key input for the engine control unit to keep fueling accurate in real driving. Fuel changes thickness and density with heat and cold, so the system needs a real temperature reading to calculate the right injection timing and quantity. When this value is correct, the engine starts easier, idles smoother, and keeps emissions under control.
How It Works ?
Inside the sensor is a thermistor that changes resistance as fuel temperature changes. The ECU reads this signal and adjusts fuel delivery strategy, especially during hot restarts, heavy load, or winter operation. On hybrids and PHEV systems, stable fueling also helps reduce hesitation when the engine joins in after electric drive.
