The Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) is a critical component within any vehicle's engine management system. It plays a vital role in ensuring optimal fuel efficiency and engine performance by accurately monitoring the position of the throttle valve. This data is then relayed to the car's Electronic Control Unit (ECU), which adjusts the air-fuel mixture accordingly, optimizing power output and reducing emissions.
How It Works
