Turbo Boost Pressure Sensor for Reliable Power βœ…

This sensor is a key input device for modern turbo engines. It measures the real boost pressure inside the intake system and sends a precise signal to the ECU. With correct readings, the ECU can control turbo duty, fuel delivery, and ignition timing to keep the engine strong, smooth, and efficient.

Why This Part Is Needed

Turbo pressure constantly changes with throttle load. The engine computer must β€œknow” that pressure to prevent overboost, reduce smoke, and maintain safe air-fuel balance. A healthy sensor helps protect the turbocharger and supports clean acceleration ?.

How It Works

Inside the unit, a pressure-sensitive element converts boost pressure into a voltage signal. The ECU compares this value with target boost and adjusts the turbo actuator and fueling in real time for stable performance.

What Happens If It Breaks

  • Loss of power and delayed turbo spool
  • Engine warning light and stored boost-related fault codes
  • Rough running, higher fuel use, possible limp mode
  • Risk of overboost/underboost that can stress turbo and engine parts

Compatibility
