This hydraulic pressure sensor keeps the accumulator in your SUV’s Active Height Control working at the correct range. It feeds the ECU a precise pressure signal so the pump and valves know when to build, hold, or release pressure. The result is a level ride, stable handling, and reduced strain on the pump and accumulator spheres.
Why it’s needed 🛡️
Without accurate pressure feedback, AHC can’t maintain proper ride height. Correct data helps the ECU prevent overpressure, avoid cavitation, and keep the suspension soft yet controlled.
How it works 🔧
A sealed transducer converts fluid pressure into a voltage signal. A robust body, O-ring seat, and weatherproof connector ensure leak-free operation in hot, high-vibration conditions common to Land Cruiser platforms.
If it fails 🚨
Expect pump overrun, hard or bouncy ride, height stuck or slow to change, warning light, DTCs, and uneven stance. Long-term, the pump and accumulator life shorten and fluid can overheat.
