A/C Refrigerant Liquid Cooler Pipe (C-Line) 🧊
This air conditioning liquid pipe is a key link between the condenser/receiver area and the evaporator circuit. It is needed to carry high-pressure refrigerant in liquid form to the next stage, keeping cabin cooling stable during idle, traffic, and hot weather.
How it works 🔧
The pipe routes liquid refrigerant through a sealed metal line with formed bends and correct flare/O-ring joints. By holding pressure and preventing moisture/air entry, it helps the expansion stage feed the evaporator correctly, so the system can remove heat fast and maintain consistent vent temperature.
When the pipe fails ⚠️
Cracks, corrosion pinholes, or damaged sealing seats can cause refrigerant leaks. You may notice weak cooling, oily residue near joints, hissing, or the compressor cycling too often. Running low refrigerant can reduce lubrication, overwork the compressor, and may lead to expensive A/C damage.
Why replace with a proper-fit line
Correct geometry prevents rubbing, vibration fatigue, and misalignment at fittings—common causes of repeat leaks after repairs.
