    This low-pressure air-conditioning line carries cool refrigerant gas from the evaporator to the compressor. It stabilizes cabin chill and returns oil to protect the compressor, ensuring quiet, efficient cooling ️.

    Why you need it

    Age, heat, and vibration dry the rubber, crack the barrier layer, and corrode crimps. A fresh OE-style low-pressure hose restores vacuum integrity, blocks moisture, and stops leaks that weaken A/C and shorten compressor life.

    How it works

    A barrier rubber tube with crimped aluminum ends links the evaporator outlet to the compressor suction port. Sealed O-rings and a service port allow leak-free joints and quick charging. The flexible section absorbs engine movement and heat cycles for long service.

    What happens if it’s broken ⚠️

    Expect weak cooling, short cycling, hiss after shutdown, oily stains, UV-dye traces, or frost near fittings. Loss of refrigerant raises suction superheat, overheats the compressor, causes clutch chatter and bearing noise, and can lead to seizure. Moisture entry forms acid and debris.

    Installation tips ️
