Wheel Temperature Sender for Tire Pressure Warning System

Why this part is needed
Tire pressure changes with temperature. By measuring heat inside the tire, the system compensates readings and can warn you early about underinflation, overload, or a developing puncture. It also helps detect thermal stress on steep climbs or at highway speeds.
How it works
A sealed thermistor senses air temperature in the cavity. The module packages temp and pressure data and transmits it via RF to the TPWS ECU. The ECU interprets the signal and lights the warning lamp if limits are exceeded. After installation, register the ID and initialize; a short drive completes learning.
If the sensor fails ⚠️
TPWS light blinks then stays on, readings drop out or become erratic, and you may get false alerts—or no alert at all. Driving with a failed unit risks hidden underinflation, uneven wear, higher fuel use, longer braking, overheating, and possible tire damage.
