HVAC Evaporator Core Assembly for Toyota SUVs ❄️

Keep your cabin cool and dry with this OE-spec air conditioning evaporator. Built from high-grade aluminum with dense fins, it restores fast, stable cooling, reduces windshield fogging, and helps the A/C system maintain correct pressures. Perfect for hot climates and heavy-duty use .

Why this part is needed

It is the heart of the cabin cooling process. Without a healthy evaporator, comfort drops, defogging is slow, and the compressor works harder—shortening its life.

How it works

Low-pressure refrigerant enters the core via the expansion valve. As the blower pushes air through the fin pack, the refrigerant absorbs heat and moisture, boiling into vapor. The air exits cold and dry, while condensate drains safely through the case outlet.

What happens if it’s broken

Warm air, weak or uneven cooling, musty odors, or oily/UV-dye traces at the case indicate leaks or clogging. Ignoring it can cause icing, high compressor load, poor fuel economy, water in the footwell, and potential compressor failure ⚠️.

Pro install tips

Replace O-rings and the expansion valve, fit a new cabin filter, flush lines, vacuum 30–45 min, charge to spec with the correct refrigerant, and verify drain tube is clear. Pressure-test with dry nitrogen before charging.
