A/C Evaporator Assembly for Reliable Cabin Cooling ❄️

Keep the cabin cold and dry with this OE-spec cooling core. Built from corrosion-resistant aluminum, it drops into the factory HVAC box and mates with the original expansion valve and lines. Ideal when your air no longer chills, the fan smells musty, or windows fog in humid weather.

Why this part is needed

The evaporator is the heart of the cabin A/C. It removes heat and moisture from the air, giving stable comfort and clear visibility. Age, debris, and moisture can clog fins, corrode tubes, and cause leaks. Replacing the core restores rapid cool-down and proper dehumidifying.

How it works

Low-pressure liquid refrigerant enters through the expansion valve, boils inside the evaporator tubes, and absorbs heat. The blower pushes cabin air across the fins; moisture condenses and drains away, while cooled, dry air returns to vents. The vapor then flows back to the compressor to repeat the cycle.

What happens if it’s broken ⚠️

Warm or uneven cooling, foggy glass, musty odor, hissing, or oily stains near the case. Leaks force the compressor to overwork, raising pressures and risking compressor failure. Replace the core, renew O-rings, evacuate the system, and recharge to spec for best results.
