Premium A/C Cooling Core for Reliable Cabin Comfort ❄️

This HVAC evaporator core keeps your van’s interior cool and dry during hot drives. It’s the heart of the air conditioning system, turning warm cabin air into crisp, comfortable airflow. Built with dense aluminum fins and precisely folded tubes, it delivers fast pull-down, stable temps, and low restriction for the blower.

Why this part is needed

Without a healthy evaporator, your A/C can’t remove heat or moisture. You get weak cooling, foggy windows, and sticky humidity. A fresh core restores factory performance and protects the compressor by keeping pressures in check.

How it works

Liquid refrigerant from the expansion valve enters the core and evaporates inside the tubes. As it changes state, it absorbs heat from air passing through the fins. The blower pushes that now-chilled air into the cabin. Condensation drains away via the case drain. Efficient heat exchange equals steady cold air.

What happens if it’s bad ⚠️

Leaks lead to low refrigerant, warm air, greasy residue at joints, and hissing. Internal clogging causes poor cooling, frosting, high pressure, and compressor stress. Corrosion can create odor and moisture on the floor from icing and melt. Ignoring it risks compressor failure and bigger repair bills.

Tech tips 🛠️

  • Always replace O-rings and flush lines
  • Check drain for blockages to prevent icing
  • Vacuum, then recharge to spec for R-134a/R-1234yf
