AC Receiver‑Drier Mounting Bracket for Toyota SUV ❄️🔧

This heavy‑duty mount secures the air‑conditioning receiver‑drier canister to the body, keeping the refrigerant lines correctly aligned and protected. Built for OE fit, it reduces vibration, prevents metal‑to‑metal contact, and preserves proper A/C performance in tough off‑road and hot‑climate use.

Why this part is needed

The receiver‑drier must sit upright and rigid. A solid bracket keeps the desiccant working efficiently, stops hose strain, and shields the canister from engine bay shake. Without a stable mount, cooling efficiency drops and components wear faster.

How it works

The formed steel bracket bolts to the core support and clamps the canister with bushings/isolators. This holds the tank at the designed height and angle so moisture is trapped in the desiccant and liquid refrigerant flows cleanly to the expansion device. It also maintains clearance from the fan and condenser lines.

What if it fails

Expect rattles, uneven cooling, and intermittent cold air. Lines can chafe and leak, the canister may crack, and desiccant dust can contaminate the system. Loss of refrigerant risks compressor damage—turning a small bracket issue into a major A/C repair ⚠️.

Install notes

Direct bolt‑on. Reuse OE hardware where possible, torque evenly, and replace worn rubber isolators. Do not bend aluminum lines. If the A/C circuit is opened, replace the drier and O‑rings and evacuate/recharge. Apply anti‑corrosion spray for longevity.
